Our Mentors:

Wyan Carter

I have been working with nonprofits since 2005, and with Salesforce technology since 2011. I started out implementing and managing Salesforce for nonprofits and in 2018 I made the move to consulting after recognising the need for this service within the industry.

Earlier on when I was just starting out in my Salesforce career as a System Administrator for a small nonprofit, I wish I’d had someone I could turn to for help; there’s so much information online that you can sift through, and whilst this is a fantastic resource it can be incredibly overwhelming. It became clear that most people using this system required assistance with interpreting the information, so my goal became about being the support person I wish I’d had access to when I started out.

Now I’m here to share my knowledge of Salesforce technology by supporting nonprofits to get the most out of this powerful tool. Technology should be an enabler for nonprofits, but too often it becomes an unnecessary barrier. After all, you want to be spending your time changing the world, not resolving IT issues!
